Best Shopping Districts

While Toronto boasts a variety of malls such as Eaton Center and Yorkdale, we’re strong believers that shopping locally in different neighbourhoods will give you a better feeling of any city you’re visiting!

Toronto has a variety of culturally diverse and hip areas that boast numerous interesting shops and restaurants. Check out this list below for must visit shopping areas.

Yorkville

This area is great for high end luxury shoppers. Also known as the “Mink Road”, Yorkville Ave and the surrounding area houses a variety of high fashion houses, luxury boutiques selling cashmere, fur, etc, larger commercial stores, as well as some of the city's best restaurants.

Kensington Market

Find your inner hippie at Kensington Market, Toronto’s home for vintage shops, handcrafted jewelry, fresh fruit/veggie stands, local eats and unique gifts.

Queen St West

You might have noticed many of our favourite shops happen to be on Queen St. West, this isn't coincidental! The area is filled with hip local stores as well as restaurants. After a long day of shopping and touring the city, relax in Trinity Bellwoods Park, the heart of the bustling neighbourhood.

Ossington Ave

A new and younger “shopping” district to the city, the Ossington strip (Dundas St. West to Queen St. West) features a variety of local boutiques and trendy restaurants.

With Toronto being our home, we hope you enjoy this list, put it to good use, and shop the city just like a local would.
