We operate a growing e-commerce, wholesale, and corporate gifting business. Our team is the heartbeat of our success, and we're looking for a dynamic Sales Development Representative.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven candidate to join our growing team as a Sales Development Representative. As an SDR, you will play a viral role in identifying and qualifying leads, initiating contact with potential customers, and setting appointments for our sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for results-oriented individuals who are passionate about sales, possess exceptional communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound prospecting activities to generate and qualify leads through various channels such as cold calling, email outreach, social selling, and live events.
- Research and identify key decision-makers within target accounts.
- Engage with prospects to understand their business needs and pain points.
- Articulate our value proposition clearly and effectively to prospects.
- Schedule high-quality appointments and meetings for the sales team.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to optimize lead-generation strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions in the CRM system.
- Continuously learn and develop product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to potential customers.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified leads and appointments.
- Assisting the sales team with Account Management activities, including the delivery of onsite events and experiences, when needed.
- Sundry duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in sales, lead generation, or customer service roles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new strategies and technologies in sales.
- Travel 1-2 times per month may be required
